Anchor Seafood is a family owned business. Originating in Garfield, New Jersey but remaining in Montvale, New Jersey alone for the past 30+ years. Run by the Scherer family, Anchor Seafood is the freshest local source of seafood around!
All of our product is purchased fresh from Fulton Fish Market, located at 800 Center Food Drive, in Bronx, New York! EVERYTHING we sell at our store is wild-caught, except for our farm-raised salmons, both King and Organic, Rainbow Trout, and Tilapia fillet.
Do not let the words “farm-raised” scare you! The fishing industry is regrettably known for abusing and overfeeding their farm-raised product. These types of farmers raise their fish in pens where their fish can contract disease and become subject to this kind of mistreatment.
Our farm raised products are NOT raised in pens! Our farmed raised products are all raised in open waters, which allow them to grow and be harvested properly. We pride ourselves, not only on having the freshest product but also obtaining our product from trusted and reliable vendors.
